Q. Do you design or install items other than what's listed on your site?
A. I am currently only accepting orders for what's listed with my package deals and in my Add-On menu.
Q. Why do I need to choose a digital scrapbooking kit?
A. I use pages from the kits to create blog backgrounds and different items from the kit in other design elements such as headers and sidebar items. If you'd prefer not to use a kit, I can also use background pages and images from iStock.com.
Q. Where do you get the cartoon images for your designs?
A. Most of the images in my headers come from iStock.com. I particularly like the designers chihhang and Girl_illa. I charge $1.50/credit to use iStock images and they typically run 5-15 credits each.
Q. Why do you need the log-in information for my blog?
A. I have to log-in to blogger as you in order to access and edit the html code for your blog. If you are concerned about sharing your password you can change it temporarily when you place your order then change it back when I'm done.
Q. Do I have to fill out the order questionnaire?
A. Yes. I will need all of the information listed in the questionnaire for the Design Package you are ordering and it's much easier for me to keep track of each order if it's all contained in the questionnaire.
Q. Will my widgets/sidebar items transfer over to my new design?
A. Yes, I only edit the design/layout portion of your html code. Things might get moved around a bit (especially with a 3 column layout) but they should all still be there when I'm done. I haven't lost anything yet, however, if you have something that you cannot replace, I recommend backing it up just to be on the safe side.
Q. When will my design be ready?
A. Your name will be added to my design list for the dates listed at the top of my site when I receive your completed questionnaire and deposit. I start all of my orders for each week on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. My time frame for completing each design once I get started is typically 24-72 hours and will greatly depend on how thoroughly you've completed the questionnaire and how quickly you respond to any e-mails that I send you during the design process.
Q. Can I view my design while you work on it or before you install it?
A. Yes, I'll work on your design on one of my test blogs where you'll be able to view it and give me your feedback as I go. I'll send you the link to my test blog as soon as I have your background installed.
