I really love calendars! Which includes a love for desktop calendars. One of these days I’d like to create my own for people to download in all different sizes. But, it just isn’t something I have the time for in this phase of my life. I have it on my design bucket list. 😉
For years, I would personalize the free desktop calendar that The Shabby Shoppe (Shabby Princess) would put out. As far as I know, they are no longer developing any monthly freebie calendars, but they do have one for the entire year available as a download. Here is a collage of some of those calendars I have used from the past.
After a couple of years, and probably due to lack of time, I started just downloading calendars from different sources that already had the images and calendar on them. I got a few from Oh Hello Friend, but I think she has stopped creating them, too.
For the past six months  of months, I have really been enjoying the calendars that Oana Befort has been putting out, but recently she has been putting a box and line through her designs, and I just don’t love them as much that way (the line is too distracting to me when it on a large desktop monitor). I’m kindof hoping she goes back to her original style.
In preparing for this post, I found a great resource that I want to direct your attention to. In this post from Smashing Magazine, you should be able to find at least one calendar that speaks to your style preference.
I am currently using this calendar (from Morgan Newnham) on my desktop. I love it!
Enjoy your day!!
