This adorable web design was created for my darling little neighbor, Brylee. Brylee (almost three years old) was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and has been given a terrible prognosis. The type of tumor is fatal, and is likely to claim her life in nine months or less. There is a 5% survival rate which increases her life span by another possible three years. That is the miracle we are hoping for!
I wanted to create a fun ‘princess’ design for Brylee with bright and cheerful colors. The family has been witnessing a lot of love and compassion being shared to them, so I wanted to incorporate hearts into the design as well.
My husband and Cory (Brylee’s dad) were both laid off from work at the same time in November 2012. Cory hasn’t found new employment, and Lara (Brylee’s mom) was attending school to become a cop. This family is in need of any financial assistance to help them through this difficult time in their lives. If you are able to donate any cash to them, or purchase a Brylee in 5 bracelet, please don’t hesitate to do so and show your support to a great family. You can also follow Brylee’s story on her community Facebook page, Brylee in 5.
I am constantly sending up prayers for this darling little girl and her family, and I know they would appreciate it if you could, too!
