I will NEVER share your e-mail address or any other contact info you may give me with anybody for any reason. I also hold your log-in information strictly confidential. If you’re concerned about sharing your password, you can change it temporarily then change it back when I’m done.
Payments are accepted via PayPal or Stripe via my online form. You do not need a PayPal/Stripe account to make a payment. You can use a credit card. Once I’ve had a chance to look over your submission, I’ll send you an email with the final total and directions for payment via Paypal/Stripe. Payment in full is required to begin your design. I bill by the hour for non-package purchases (this includes HTML assistance, Blogger help/tutorials/chatting) at $90/hour.
Due to the nature of blog design, I do not offer full or partial refunds for any reason. In the event that you cancel your order/project, you will lose your deposit and/or your payment in full.
Revisions are included in the cost of each element of your design, as long as it does not become excessive. If I have to revise something more than twice, or if you change your mind about something that you have specifically asked me to include previously (a certain background page, a certain font, switching out photos you’ve sent, etc.) you may incur a fee based on the amount of time it will take me to make the change. I charge at a rate of $90/hour.
Any revisions after I have installed your design on your blog will be billed at $90/hour.
Inherent Risks of Blogging:
By ordering from Blogger Boutique you agree that I am not responsible for the personal information (photos, names, etc.) you put on your blog or that you hire me to put on your blog. Basic safety precautions should be taken with all on-line information.
After your order has been placed, I will add you to my software management program (Basecamp) where I will obtain all the necessary information to begin your project. When filling out the forms, documents in Basecamp, please answer as possible and try to submit ALL of the information I’ll need to design your blog up front (photos, titles, URL’s for links, font preferences, etc.). Information submitted after I start on your design may result in a longer design time and possibly additional charges. If you have something specific in mind for your design please be specific when you place your custom order request. If you’re not quite sure what you want, take a few days to think it over before you order. If you have filled out the questionnaire thoroughly there should not be a need for excessive design revisions.
I’ll work on your design on my test blog where you’ll be able to view it and give me your feedback as I go. I generally start with the background and build from there. I’ll send you the link to my test blog once I get started on your design. My time frame for completing each design is typically 4-6 weeks and depends on how thoroughly you’ve completed your Order Questionnaire and how quickly you respond to any correspondence I send through Basecamp. It’s very helpful if you check your e-mail often while I am working on your design in case I have any questions or need additional information from you. I also ask that you not make any changes to your blog while I am installing your new design.
I schedule designs in the order that I receive each client’s completed custom project request and payment in full. Once these criterion are met, your name will be placed on my design schedule.
In the event that you fail to return email correspondence within 30 days with regards to project completion or design implementation, all payments received by you will be forfeited and the project will be cancelled without notice. Email communication is imperative to a timely delivery of your project.
The layouts and design elements of Blogger Boutique are protected by U.S. Copyright law. No part of any blog design may be altered, copied, or resold for any reason. The graphics I create on your behalf are intended to be used only within your blog or web template and may not be used for any other purpose without written permission.
I credit Blogger Boutique with a link back to my site at the bottom of every blog I design. That information is required to remain on your blog as long as you are using the design. If you remove the credit link, you also agree to remove every part of your design created by Blogger Boutique.
After your custom design has been installed, I will take a screen shot of it to be used in my design portfolio. I will also announce your custom design on my social networking platforms, which may help to drive additional traffic to your blog. I would greatly appreciate it if you would write up a testimonial, or announce on your blog that you are rocking a custom design by Blogger Boutique.
